Hello again

Hello it's been a wee while life has been as hectic as usual. I had a good if drunken night out in Carnoustie"see pic its a nice place" on Friday night,it took me the rest of the weekend to recover.

The rest of my weekend was taken up in looking after my kids and the international football. To be honest the international game does not move and excite me in the way that the club game does but I did enjoy watching the games from South America and the wonderful display from Brazil.

I have brought up to date my facebook and bebo pages and they look a lot more like there is something going on than they did before I am as a result back in touch with a couple of people who I have not chatted to for quite a while and that's all real bonus.

that's all for the moment I will do my best to keep this page up to date x

Friday Night out

I was as drunk as a skunk last night the first time for ages and I have the woolly head that is always going to follow a heavy drinking session today.

I have the two boys tonight Shona is off to a concert see picture.

Me I am watching the Rugby League grand final from Old Trafford. It as 6 -6 at the moment between Saint Helens and Leeds, come on the rhinos. Make that 12-6 to Leeds but knock on penalty to Saints. We won it back.

It was Celtic 4 Hamilton 0 today hope the Saints can do us a favor tomorrow can't see it though.

12-6 half time.

Leeds FC got a bit of a doing at the football today but there is a long way to go and a win in the grand final tonight would more than make up for the early result.

Right I am off to enjoy the second half I will post more later tonight. x

The October break problem

Holidays are great right ? Well yes they are unless you are in the position I find my self in where for the next two weeks my two sons are off school for a local Dundee holiday while I am at work at there mum has classes at university.

Que the whole of the morning on the phone trying to sort something out. So far Allan has a place in a local nursery in the mornings for two weeks and I have got a place for Euan during the 2nd week at an after school club, first week ? here's hoping.

It is falling into place but it is hardly an easy situation roll on the third Monday in October when things get back to normal. x

Currently listening to Deacon Blue Ooh Las Vegas.

Home Town

This is the place I call home Dundee on the bank of the river Tay in East Scotland.

I have been here all my days more or less and like every where else it has its good points and its bad points. Who knows what will happen in the future but one thing is sure where ever I end up the place they call Dundee will always be home. P.S. the tower blocks in the picture are due to come down along with most of the rest of them in the city. once this has been done the view looking down from the Law 'that's our big hill where this picture was taken from will be very different.

Back again

Allan had a great time today on his trip to the Dundee science center, that's it in the picture. He saw a robot with real eyes who was able to talk to him and saw and found about all sorts of dinosaurs.

Despite the fact that I was told that he had only just got back when I went to pick him up he still found time to get himself covered in paint. Oh well never mind it was a lovely painting which no doubt will join the rest of his work on the living room wall tomorrow when we are able to bring it home.
Can't help but think the local dogs would have a field day with this lot :-)
Now listening to Sting Brand new day x

No work today

AS it says in the headline I got a phone call this morning to tell me that there was no work today so I took my young lad to nursery and headed back up the road. My youngest son Allan who will be four in December is off on a trip with his nursery today to the science centre in Dundee I hope he enjoys it.

Housework housework housework that's my morning so far always something to be done. I am off now to hang out some washing before I nip up to my dads for a bit of dinner.

This morning I have been listening and dancing to Ska Mania.

If there is anyone reading this I will post a bit more this evening x
